09/96-Present Network/System Engineer

                           Baptist Health System, Knoxville, TN.

Perform daily system/network maintenance within a large enterprise consisting of three hospitals and twenty local medical clinics.  Responsible for all enterprise networking hardware including switches, routers, and firewalls.  Installed and maintain Iprism Internet filtering appliance.  Installed and administrate Cisco 3005 VPN concentrator.  Perform daily network monitoring and troubleshooting with protocol analyzer/sniffer.  Perform Domain Admin tasks including maintaining DNS and DHCP.  Create, change, and delete Active Directory users and security groups.  Basically responsible for all aspects of enterprise LAN and WAN transport including distribution of ip addresses, Internet continuity and filtering, and firewall administration.  Administrate Barracuda Email spam filter appliance.

Performed daily computer/data-communications maintenance for 3000+ contracts within a large geographic area.  Installed, configured, and serviced all major brands of computers, printers, and related peripherals.  Installed and configured both LAN and WAN hardware, including satellite communication equipment.  Surpassed customer satisfaction goals throughout region.  Responsible for $80,000+ of local parts inventory.
